The Enid Symphonic Choir will begin rehearsals for Handel’s Messiah Tuesday evening, October 4 at 7:00 pm in Enid Symphony Hall located at 301 West Broadway. The Enid Symphonic Choir is under the direction of Douglas Newell, Music Director of the Enid Symphony Orchestra. Rehearsals will continue on Tuesday evenings through October and November.
The performance dates for Messiah are Saturday, November 26 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, November 27 at 2:00 pm.
The Enid Symphonic Choir is a volunteer chorus which is open to all interested community singers. Choral scores will be provided at the first rehearsal.
The performances of Handel’s Messiah are part of the Enid Symphony Orchestra 2011-2012 subscription series. Single tickets are now on sale and may be purchased by calling 580-237-9646.
